Refund Policy

Effective date: June 15, 2026

1. Digital Products

All products sold on Microstart are digital goods (source code, prompts, brand files, and templates) delivered electronically. Because digital products are immediately accessible upon purchase and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense, all sales are generally final.

2. When We Do Issue Refunds

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

— The product is materially different from what was described on the product listing. — The downloadable files are corrupted, incomplete, or inaccessible and we are unable to resolve the issue within 5 business days. — You were charged twice for the same product (duplicate purchase). — You did not receive access to your purchase within 24 hours and our support team was unable to resolve the delivery issue.

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.

3. When We Do Not Issue Refunds

We do not issue refunds in the following situations:

— You changed your mind after purchase. — You bought the wrong product and have already downloaded the files. — You lack the technical skills to use the product (all skill requirements are stated on the product listing). — The product does not integrate with a third-party tool or service not mentioned in the listing. — Your Managed Maintenance subscription has already renewed and you did not cancel before the renewal date. — You have violated these Terms of Service or misused the product license.

4. Launch Setup & Managed Maintenance

Launch Setup is a one-time service booked per product. Managed Maintenance is a recurring, per-product subscription ($299/mo) and may be paused or cancelled at any time from your account dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.

If you believe you were charged in error for a Maintenance renewal, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email hello@microstart.dev with:

— Subject line: "Refund Request — [Order ID]" — The email address used for your purchase — Your order ID (found in your confirmation email or account dashboard) — A brief description of the issue

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and resolve it within 5 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. We will email you confirmation once the refund has been issued on our end.

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is resolved. We respond to all chargebacks promptly with the relevant order documentation.
